PASTOR GEORGE M. MENYON

“Go ye therefore, and teach all nations…”

Brother George Menyon was saved at the age of 17 when a Baptist preacher came to Liberia to preach a Gospel crusade. During that crusade, Brother George said, “ I heard for the first time that Jesus died for all of my sins and if I trusted in Him by faith, I would go to heaven when I die. This is my joy.”  Praise the Lord for his testimony!

Some time after his salvation, Brother George fled to Ghana as a refugee. It was in Ghana that God began to burden his heart for his own people in Liberia and their need to hear the Gospel. Brother George surrendered to the will of God in 2004, and went to Hyles-Anderson of Ghana West Africa to train for the ministry. In 2010 he was sent out of the Fundamental Baptist Church International of Kumasi, Ghana to spread the Gospel message to his own country.

Now, Brother George pastors the Grand View Baptist Church in Monrovia, Liberia. He and his wife, Irene, are involved in church planting, prison ministry, radio ministry, and serve in their Bible college as well as ministering in the extended care of orphans. The Menyons were blessed with five children who are all serving the Lord as well.

Brother Menyon desires to continue planting new churches in and outside of Liberia. He longs to make improvements at the Bible college to train more men for future ministry. This will allow more men to fulfill The Great Commission. He also has a desire to provide for the clothing and food needs of orphans.

The Menyon’s Prayer Needs include:

Funds for the completion of their church building project.

Funds for a better building for their orphans and their needs.

Support for their Bible college to continue to train men for future ministry work.
