Brother Dan Woody Mangligot

Missionary Spotlight

Brother Dan, a missionary to the Ilocano people of the Philippines, was saved during high school through the ministry of a missionary film. Upon seeing his need for a Savior, he repented, and asked Jesus into his heart. He was later baptized and after high school, entered into ministry training at Titus Baptist Seminary. Through the Open Door Baptist Church, God called him to return to his own people, where he and his family have been serving since 2001.

Brother Dan, his wife, and their 4 children live in Ballesteros Cagayan, Philippines. There, they desire to see their people come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. They continue to seek the furtherance of the Great Commission by preaching, winning souls, baptizing, and casting the net into the streets through tract distribution, and personal evangelism. During their years of service, they’ve discipled men and women, expanded their mission work into 14 villages, and started a Bible school where they have been blessed with 16 graduates.

Brother Dan reveals that their desire for the future is to continue preaching, witnessing, training preachers, and expanding their ministry into further villages.

Their current prayer needs include

Kabayu Mission – Construction materials for Sunday school rooms such as lumber, steel and gravel.

Gattaran Mission – A place of worship

Abulog Mission – Lumber, steel, cinder blocks for a church building.

Culao Mission – Land to purchase
