Greetings from the land of the Widow Island Baptist Church
Good Morning, my friend, We praise the LORD for our partners around the world. Cambodia holds a special place in my heart. I made my first trip to Cambodia in 2010, which has resulted in partnerships with incredible, enthusiastic men of God. The LORD has knit our hearts together to reach as many souls as possible. Pastor Ruse has provided us with this update.
First, let me share an update on the Mission in Widow Island; we’re so blessed to serve the “…King of kings and Lord of lords” on the Widow’s Island in Cambodia.
Allow me to share with you the activity that we did last week for the children on Widow’s Island. We are really blessed with Widow kids; we were able to invite around 70 children who have no classes right now. They have to take a break after their final exams. We took two days to meet with the children, titling our services, HOW TO BE A GOOD CHILD, taken from Ephesians 6:1. With all this excellent work, we have seen seven souls come to know Jesus as their Saviour! Secondly, we provided them with spaghetti that my wife prepared. After the lessons, there were rewards for those who won the games. Lastly, from the bottom of our hearts, we are grateful for the sacrifice of your giving for the mission, and your labor isn’t in vain in the Lord.
