Here is the latest update from Brother Paul Okoth in Uganda. Please continue to pray over the building of Hope Christian Academy and it’s success in helping these children grow closer to God.
Dear Dr Mike Van,
Praise the Almighty God, and thanks for your wonderful service in the quest for winning more and more souls.
I hope this letter finds you well.
There’s no better joy that comes beyond having a friend like you. You are the true definition of the old saying “A friend in need is a friend indeed”.
I hereby write to you to express my exceeding gratitude for the great things that through you, I have managed to achieve both on individual and collective terms.
Firstly, I am very grateful for the great support you gave to me to purchase a vehicle, it’s a great pleasure to inform you that I officially got my own car, the total sum was $9,500 (dollars) to get the vehicle though I was able to get on credit since I didn’t have all that money, so currently a total sum of $3,000 (dollars) is the balance for which I have to pay so that I am guaranteed that the vehicle is mine and not in any threat of being snatched away from me due to failure to finish the payment. Therefore, I still hope that God gives a way so that I’m able to clear the payment.
Secondly, I wish to inform you that our classroom block has really been worked on well and the progress is outstanding. We can’t thank you enough for all the endeavors that you have given to us towards this project. We have now roofed the building, and that leaves us with plastering, flooring, painting, and fixation of doors and windows, all collectively requiring a sum of $12,500 (dollars).
And finally, I really appreciate you for the help with my wife, Scovia Nyapendi with her situation of health. Several tests were done, and all confirmed that there was no need for surgical intervention and showed no sign of Cancerous cells, we give glory to God. Currently, she is well.
I live every day praying that God blesses you for the great love and passion you have shown me and my family at large, I want to let you know that we love you so very much and that we will always be grateful to you. Thank you.
May God bless you.
Your pastor, Paul Okoth
