April
A month spent to strengthen our base so we visited churches that we have never been in Cebu province, namely: Bible Baptist Church – Asturias under Pastor Roldan Fabroquez; Bible Baptist Church – Tuburan under pastor Virgil Alterado and Bible Baptist Church – Don Andreas Soriano under Pastor Jeson Gulben.
I arrived back in Cambodia on the 26th of April, and I was welcomed by our ISOT staff and kids.
May
Pastor Samoun Pov and Sister Sonim got married on May 3. Pastor Samoun is the Pastor of Liberty Bible Baptist Church in Purieng District, Prey Veng province. What a blessing to see this 3-year-old church grow.
On May 20, the new church building of Liberty Bible Baptist Church – Purieng District, Prey Veng province was dedicated to God. The village chief came to attend the occasion.
May 21 was our Mother’s Day, and we were blessed to have 20 mothers that attended and 3 of them got saved!
Reaching out the “unreached people through gospel booklets distribution is one of our work and vision to fulfill. So far, we have gone to National road 308 towards Chrouchchammar District where there is no Christian work or ministry present. We distributed over 1,000 copies of the booklets and also on Highway 21 to Highway 1 in Kandal Province we distributed
over 1200 copies of “Do You Know God” booklets.
We also did Medical evangelistic mission at DARAK Drug Rehabilitation Center at Bati District of Takeo Province. 133 souls got saved!
May 27, we had a special service at the Widows’ Island Ministry under Pastor Rosechean Makara.
June
Mission survey trip to Kratie was our initial help for our new Missionary to Cambodia in the person of Brother Nelson Narciso. We showed him the city and parts of the province travelling a total of 260 kilometers for about 9 hours. Brother Bunthan introduced our new missionary to his relatives there and we even did a Bible Study.
On June 9, our Preacher Sotharith was engaged to Sister Kanha at Pursat Province.
The monsoon rains have come and our I.S.O.T. school room 1 gets messy. So, we installed granite tiles. Praise God for His provisions.
June 18 was our Father’s Day. We were blessed to have 10 fathers in Kampong Cham.
June 20 and 21, Brother Bunthan and I travelled north to Preah Vihear Province and to Osmach Oddar Meanchey province to get the wooden cross we ordered. On the way we got to visit Missionary Cesar De Ocampo and family. We also distributed gospel booklets.
One of our young lady named Sokleap has been assisting the outreach in Kiencherey every Saturday. She has grown in the Lord and is a big help to Mam SusanJane.
June 25 our Liberty Bible Baptist Church Dangkao, Phnom Penh celebrated 25th Church
Anniversary. Praise God for His faithfulness though the years. So blessed for the leadership of
Pastor Sihok and the preachers and men that labor so tirelessly. Praise God for the churches planted out of this church that we planted on July of 1998.
Please pray for the following prayer requests:
1. Salvation of our school parents.
2. Spiritual growth of our church members.
3. Baptism of new believers.
4. School graduation August 25, 2023. We need 2 more teachers for our Christian School.
5. Kiencherey Mission outreach will grow and reach out to more kids and families.
6. Gospel Booklets distribution will have more volunteers to get involved.
7. Vacation Bible School ( September ).
8. Healing from my health issues and my wife too. Funds for medicines.
9. Completion of our church building construction.
10. Mission Pastors and their wives and family.
